NOVEMBER 20, 2009 WHAT IS THE PROBLEM FOR TODAY? HOW DO YOU INTEND TO SOLVE IT?
-Solving equation using the balancing method.
-You have to see how many pennies go into the cup
-When you take the three pennies away from your cups your results will show you nothing in the cups that you withdrawed from
I have to draw the picutre and this time i have to put one cup on the left side of the balance and then on the right side i have to have the correct amount of pennies so that they balance on both sides
DECEMBER 3, 2009 WHAT IS THE PROBLEM FOR TODAY? HOW DO YOU INTEND TO SOLVE IT?
Today we are doing 4.4 equivalent algebraic equations by turning them into slope intercept forms and we are also doing the investigation from 4.4 working with steps 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 by using distributive property to rewrite the points of the slope like
Y = 3-2 [ X-1 ]
Y = -2 [ X-1 ] +3
Y = -2X-1+3
Y = -2+3
